Terms of Service
Verado Intelligence
Effective Date: July 9, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the services provided by Verado Intelligence (“Verado Intelligence,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), through veradointel.com and any related engagement. By purchasing a report, submitting a request, or otherwise engaging our services, you (“you,” “the Client”) agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use our services.
1. Description of Services
Verado Intelligence provides business intelligence and due diligence research based exclusively on publicly available information and lawfully accessible databases. Our work includes researching businesses and individuals in connection with vendor screening, partner vetting, acquisitions, and similar business decisions, and delivering written reports summarizing our findings.
Our services are research and information services only. We do not provide legal, financial, investment, tax, accounting, or professional advice of any kind, and nothing in any report should be treated as such.
2. What Our Services Are Not
To set clear expectations, our services do not include and are not:
- Legal advice. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice or legal opinions. Reports do not constitute a recommendation to proceed with or decline any transaction.
- A consumer report under the FCRA. Verado Intelligence is not a consumer reporting agency, and our reports are not consumer reports as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Our reports may not be used, in whole or in part, as a factor in establishing eligibility for employment, tenancy, credit, insurance, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA. By engaging us, you agree that you will not use any report for any FCRA-regulated purpose.
- Private investigation or surveillance. We do not conduct surveillance, physical investigation, pretexting, or any activity requiring a private investigator license. All research is performed through publicly available records and lawfully accessible databases.
- A background check requiring consent. Our business research does not rely on subject consent, and we do not collect or provide information through consent-based consumer channels.
- A guarantee. A report reflects information we were able to locate through public records and lawfully accessible sources at the time of research. It is not a representation that all relevant information has been found, that no adverse information exists, or that the subject is or is not trustworthy.
3. Scope and Limitations
Our reports reflect public records and lawfully accessible information as they existed at the time the research was conducted. Public records are maintained by third parties, may be incomplete, delayed, mis-indexed, or in error, and may change after delivery. Verado Intelligence is not responsible for inaccuracies, omissions, or gaps in the underlying source records.
Research covers U.S.-based individuals and entities using United States records only. We do not research international subjects, foreign court filings, or records maintained outside the United States.
The scope of any engagement is defined by the report tier purchased or the scope confirmed in writing before work begins. Findings are limited to that scope. Matters outside the agreed scope are not researched and their absence from a report is not a finding.
4. Research Methodology
The specific sources, databases, and methods used to conduct our research are proprietary to Verado Intelligence and are not disclosed. Thoroughness is reflected in the findings we report, not in a listing of sources searched. This provision does not affect our commitment to conducting research only through publicly available and lawfully accessible means.
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information identifying the research subject, including the correct legal name, state, and any other detail needed to research the intended subject. We are not responsible for results affected by inaccurate or incomplete information you provide.
- Use our reports only for lawful business purposes and only for the purpose for which the research was requested.
- Not use any report for any purpose prohibited under Section 2, including any FCRA-regulated purpose.
- Not republish, resell, or redistribute a report or its contents as a standalone product without our written permission.
You are solely responsible for any decision you make and any action you take based on a report.
6. Payment
Payment is required in full before research begins, unless we agree otherwise in writing for a custom engagement. For custom or higher-tier work, we may require a deposit before work commences and the balance on delivery. All prices are in U.S. dollars.
7. Refunds
Because our services consist of labor and research that begins promptly after payment, fees are non-refundable once research has begun. If you wish to cancel an order, contact us before research has started and we will refund any fee paid. Once research is underway or a report has been delivered, no refund will be issued. This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.
8. Delivery
We deliver reports within the turnaround window stated for the applicable service or as otherwise confirmed in writing. Turnaround windows are good-faith estimates measured from the time payment is received and all information needed to begin research has been provided. Reports are delivered as a PDF via secure, confidential transmission.
9. Confidentiality
We treat every engagement as strictly confidential. We do not discuss our clients, research subjects, or findings with anyone outside the engagement, except as required by law. You agree to keep our reports confidential and to share them only with those who have a legitimate need to know within the purpose of the engagement.
10. Intellectual Property
Reports are prepared for your use for the engagement for which they were commissioned. Verado Intelligence retains all rights in its templates, formats, methodology, and any materials underlying a report. You may use and share a delivered report consistent with Section 5, but you may not resell it or present it as your own research product.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Verado Intelligence and Ingenified LLC arising out of or relating to any engagement, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Verado Intelligence and Ingenified LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost business, or lost opportunity, arising out of or relating to any report or engagement, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You acknowledge that our reports are informational, that public records have inherent limitations, and that any decision you make based on a report is made at your own risk.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Verado Intelligence and Ingenified LLC from any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of your use of a report in violation of these Terms, including any use for an FCRA-regulated purpose or any other purpose prohibited under Section 2.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase or engagement governs that engagement. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
